Stater Bros also did not have any leg quarters (this is when the drumstick and the thigh is still attached) so we went with a whole chicken so we could have the bones and the meat. It is worth noting that not only did Walmart come out cheaper, but we also got 10 pounds of chicken legs instead of the just the 5 pounds that we needed. This was $3.11 cheaper than Stater Bros total of $15.93. In the meat section, Walmart came out cheaper with a total of $12.82. This was $1.92 cheaper than Stater Bros’ total of $21.88. In the produce section, Walmart came out cheaper with a total of $19.96. This is all the fresh vegetables and fruits we need for the week.
